Côté Gold (Ontario, Canada)

We are building the large-scale, long life Côté Gold mining project in northern Ontario in partnership with Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. of Japan.

Côté Gold is an open pit mine located in an established mining region between Sudbury and Timmins, Ontario. The project is a joint venture between IAMGOLD, as the operator, and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. of Japan. Côté Gold will be Canada’s first fully automated haulage and drilling mine in Canada, making it a model for mining in our industry, and Canada’s third largest gold mine with over 18 years of mine life and considerable growth opportunities. By combining creative thinking and the latest in automated mining technology and analytics, we are improving the processes of today and defining the best practices of tomorrow.

Westwood (Québec, Canada)

Westwood is an underground mine situated in the heart of Québec's Abitibi-Temiscamingue region, 630 km northwest of Montréal. The mine is 100% owned by IAMGOLD and entered production in 2013. With the potential to produce over 100,000 ounces per year, Westwood offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the latest skills and best practices in underground mining.

Essakane (Burkina Faso)

Essakane is an open pit mine located in north-eastern Burkina Faso, West Africa. It is approximately 330 km northeast of the capital, Ouagadougou. Essakane is West Africa's 6th largest gold mines and has been in steady production since 2010 while being an integral partner to its local communities.
