As a mining company with a global footprint, we recognize our responsibility to mitigate our impacts on the environment. Through responsible practices and continual improvement, we aim to foster long-term sustainability that balances environmental, social and economic considerations.

IAMGOLD has a suite of environmental policies that our employees and contractors are expected to follow. Each of our operating sites have environmental management system in place and measure and monitor their impact on the environment.

Additionally, as a member of the Mining Association of Canada, IAMGOLD is required to implement the Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) Protocols at all our Canadian operations. While it is not required, IAMGOLD also implements TSM at our international operations.
