Côté Gold has been awarded the 2026 Tom Peters Memorial Mine Reclamation Industry Award by the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association and the Ontario Mining Association.
 

The award recognizes the site's approach to progressive reclamation during the early years of mine construction and operation. Reclamation involves restoring land affected by mining activities to a stable and productive condition, helping to support long-term environmental stewardship and responsible mine closure planning.

These efforts have been carried out in collaboration with our local partners, including the incorporation of Indigenous perspectives and values into reclamation activities, guided by a shared focus on planning, accountability and continuous improvement.

Members of Côté Gold’s HSEC team accepted the award jointly with Flying Post First Nation and Aki Caron, a Mattagami Aki majority-owned business that carried out earthworks activities for the reclamation projects, highlighting our long-term relationship with Indigenous partners and communities.
