Our Côté Gold mine in northern Ontario reached yet another milestone yesterday! Along with our closest community, Indigenous, government and business partners, IAMGOLD executives and staff gathered at the site to mark the official inauguration of the mine. 

Over its 18-year mine life, Côté Gold is expected to contribute $10 billion to Ontario’s GDP, $5 billion in wages, and provide nearly 600 full-time jobs. It will not only become one of Canada’s largest gold producers but also a model for modern mining and sustainability.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to anyone who has played a part in this massive undertaking and has helped us make this dream come true.
