Stepping
up for our community! This past weekend, our President and CEO, Renaud Adams,
along with members of our corporate team in Toronto climbed all 1,776 steps of
the CN Tower to raise funds for the United Way ClimbUP challenge.

The
annual event challenges individuals to climb up the tallest free-standing
building in the Western hemisphere to support the United Way in fighting
poverty in the Peel, Toronto and York Region. As its signature fundraising event,
every dollar raised directly supports the organization’s work to make
necessities that foster well-being and belonging accessible by connecting
community members to vital local services, including shelter, employment and
nutritious food.
At IAMGOLD, we’re committed to working
with and supporting our host communities, whether it’s our head office in
Toronto or in our national and global host communities.
“Our
team’s participation in the United Way ClimbUP challenge not only helps to build
stronger communities right at home but also serves to bring our employees
together to complete a daring challenge.”
Renaud
Adams, President and CEO, IAMGOLD
We’re
proud of the team’s perseverance and commitment to the cause, as they completed
this 144-floor stairwell fitness challenge.
Kudos to all the climbers
and supporters!
