We’re very pleased to announce that our President and CEO Renaud Adams will be participating in the CEOx1Day program and serve as an executive mentor to a third- or fourth- year university or college student for one full day in March 2024.
If you know a student enrolled in a Canadian university or a college in a three- or four- year program, who demonstrates leadership on and off campus and is looking to learn business skills first-hand, encourage them to apply to the program! It’s a great way to kickstart their career after school! Applications are open until Oct. 29 at www.CEOx1DayCanada.ca.

“At IAMGOLD, we’ve always been very supportive of new talent. I’m personally very excited to participate in the CEOx1Day program. I look forward to spending one full day with the selected candidate and sharing my experiences and insights into the CEO function,” said Renaud Adams, President and Chief Executive Officer, IAMGOLD.
Initiated in Germany 14 years ago, the CEOx1Day program provides leadership development, career insights and executive networking opportunities to the next generation of leaders. It is run in over 10 countries including the United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil, Belgium, Australia, South Africa, and Singapore. In Canada, it is managed by executive search firm Odgers Berndtson Canada in partnership with The Globe and Mail and Hogan Assessments.
A total of 30 companies are participating in the 2024 edition of the program. Applicants will go through a rigorous selection process, mirroring a professional job search. Semi-finalists will participate in a career development day, while 30 of them will go on to the finals and be matched with one of the 30 participating CEOs.
More information to come when the IAMGOLD candidate is selected.
