Together We Grow: Côté Gold’s First Engagement Report

We are proud to share our Côté Gold mine’s first-ever Engagement Report, Together We Grow, a milestone that reflects the people, partnerships and progress that have helped bring this operation to life. It reflects the relationships, responsibilities and shared efforts that continue to guide Côté Gold and IAMGOLD.

What Readers Will Find Insidethe Report

The report is organized around five focus areas: Environment, Communities, Our People, Safety and Technology. Each section provides a combination of data, examples and activities underway at site:

  • Environment
This section outlines environmental monitoring programs and site-specific initiatives, including early habitat observations at Middle Three Duck Lake, World Environment Day clean-up efforts, duck nesting boxes along Mattagami Lake, and the development of Oshki Lake in collaboration with Indigenous partners and stakeholders.

  • Communities
The report highlights ongoing engagement with host communities in Timmins, Sudbury and Gogama, as well as with Mattagami First Nation, Flying Post First Nation and the Métis Nation of Ontario. It also includes examples of community investment, such as the Indspire scholarships, Truth and Reconciliation initiatives, youth engagement and site visits.

  • Our People
This section focuses on workforce growth and programs available to employees and their families, such as Family Day activities, the Mesomikenda Lake Lodge summer program, student employment opportunities and the Teachers on Call tutoring benefit.

  • Safety
Safety remains a core focus across IAMGOLD. The section shares information on critical risk awareness, Critical Risk MBA Boards, Occupational Health, Security and Emergency Response services.

  • Technology
The report outlines how technologies such as autonomous equipment, remote monitoring, drones and real-time data systems are being used to support and improve operations.

The report also looks back on key milestones in the Côté Gold story, including first gold pour in March 2024, commercial production in August 2024 and achieving nameplate capacity of 36,000 tonnes per day in June 2025.
