IAMGOLD among Canada’s 2023 Best 50 Corporate Citizens

Once again this year, IAMGOLD has earned a place among Canada’s 2023 Best 50 Corporate Citizens, placing 31st — an improvement of six places over last year. 

The Best 50 Corporate Citizens represent the gold standard for corporate sustainability leadership in Canada. It is a well-established ranking managed by Corporate Knights and it is known for its transparent, quantitative methodology that places equal emphasis on the ESG (environmental, social and governance) performance of a company’s operations and the environmental impact of its core products.  

To determine the 2023 ranking, Corporate Knights analyzed 286 large Canadian organizations against Canadian and global industry peers on a suite of 25 quantitative key performance indicators (KPIs), covering areas such as resource management, employee management, financial management, sustainable revenue and sustainable investment and supplier performance.
