Stephen J. J. Letwin, President and Chief Executive Officer

Steve Letwin was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of IAMGOLD on November 1, 2010. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since joining the Company.

Specializing in corporate finance, operational management, and merger and acquisitions, Steve brings over 30 years of experience from the highly-competitive resource sector. Steve actively leads his executive management teams with a clear and pragmatic approach to driving business results, creating shareholder value, and achieving sustainable growth.

Prior to joining IAMGOLD, Steve was based in Houston, Texas, where he was the Executive Vice President, Gas Transportation & International, with Enbridge Inc. Steve was responsible for Enbridge’s natural gas operations, including overall responsibility for Enbridge Energy Partners, as the partnership’s Managing Director. In 1999, he joined Enbridge as President and Chief Operating Officer, Energy Services, based in Toronto, Canada.

Before joining Enbridge, Steve served as President & Chief Operating Officer of TransCanada Energy and was Chief Financial Officer, TransCanada Pipelines Limited, Numac (Westcoast Energy), and Encor Energy. Mr. Letwin holds an MBA from the University of Windsor, is a Certified General Accountant, a graduate of McMaster University (B.Sc., Honors), and a graduate of the Harvard Advanced Management Program.

Throughout his career, Steve has actively demonstrated his commitment to voluntary leadership. His most recent community affiliations have included Director, Corporate Campaign Committee of Texas Children’s Hospital; Patron, UNICEF Alberta, Canada; and Director, YMCA Calgary, Canada. For his commitment to the community, Steve was awarded the 2006 Alberta Centennial Medal.

Gordon Stothart, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Gord joined IAMGOLD in December of 2007 and brings over 20 years of industry experience to the position of COO. In his previous role, Gord was responsible for technical management and development of three major copper projects in South America as well as oversight of the large scale Antamina and Collahuasi mines. Prior to this role, Gord served as the General Manager and Operations Manager at Lomas Bayas in Chile and Antamina in Peru as well as holding Engineering Management positions at the Brunswick and Bell Mines in Canada. He also spent several years as a Manager within the Business Development group for a multinational metals producer and provided technical analysis for global acquisition opportunities. Gord graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1987 with a Double Major in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering.

Carol Banducci, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Carol brings more than 20 years of financial management and strategic leadership experience with leading global businesses to IAMGOLD.

Prior to joining the Company, Carol was the VP Finance and a Director of Royal Group Technologies, where she led comprehensive integration, restructuring and cost improvement initiatives.

Carol has had extensive finance experience in statutory and management reporting, audit, forecasts, capital programs, treasury, tax, acquisitions and divestments, pension fund management, insurance and information technology. She has held senior finance roles with the world's leading supplier of explosives and blasting technology.

Other positions held include CFO and Vice President, Orica Explosives North America, CFO and Vice President of Finance and IT, ICI Explosives Canada & Latin America, International Controller, ICI International Explosives, Treasurer of ICI Canada Inc., and CFO and Vice President Finance of Canadian General-Tower Limited. Carol presently sits on the board of Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc.

Carol oversees all aspects of the finance and IT functions for IAMGOLD. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Robert Carreau, Senior Vice President, Health, Safety & Sustainability

Bob is responsible for all aspects of IAMGOLD’s health and safety, and sustainability initiatives.

At the core of IAMGOLD’s brand is our unshakable commitment to safety and, in particular, Zero Harm. Bob is responsible for continuing to advance this unique and powerful program and to further develop, implement and manage IAMGOLD’s extensive Health & Safety and Sustainability Frameworks, building on our recognized leadership in this field within the mining industry.

Bob has over 25 years of mining industry experience, including 10 years at Canada’s first mine north of the Arctic Circle. Before joining IAMGOLD, he was VP, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability at an international mining company where he oversaw 7 operations across the Americas and Africa.

Bob’s career has unfolded in parallel with an evolving corporate and societal consciousness that demands more accountability from business and strives to balance society’s need for our product with responsible practices. Bob is a foundation member of the Devonshire Initiative, a forum founded on the belief that the Canadian mining and NGO presence in developing countries can work together to make a positive change.

Michael Donnelly, Senior Vice President, Exploration

Mike currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Exploration and is part of the Executive Leadership Team at IAMGOLD. Mike graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Geology. He began his career as a Field Geologist with Noranda Exploration in the U.S., and over time held successive positions of increasing responsibility within Noranda Exploration in the Southwest and Eastern U.S. In 1995, Mike relocated to Chile and rose to the position of General Manager Exploration – Southern Hemisphere for Noranda. In 2003, he moved to Toronto where he held the position of General Manager Copper Exploration Latin America with the combined Noranda-Falconbridge groups. In this position, he was directly involved with the planning and execution of their global exploration efforts. Mike joined IAMGOLD in February 2006 and brings a successful exploration track record to our Company. Notable achievements include hands-on involvement with the discovery and delineation of four significant gold and base metals deposits in addition to the world-class La Fortuna deposit in Chile.

Benjamin Little, Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs

Benjamin Little is Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs. In addition to leading the Company's Global Corporate Affairs Program, he is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. He was previously Director of Government and International Affairs at Barrick Gold Corporation. He is a corporate lawyer, having practised at a leading business law firm in Toronto. He has also served as Senior Policy Adviser to Canada's federal Minister of Industry. Mr. Little studied at Queen's University (gold medallist), Oxford University (master's degree in international relations, Commonwealth Scholar) and the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. He has served or continues to serve on the boards of directors of many organizations, including SEMOS (Mali), the World Gold Council (Alternate), Euro Resources S.A. (France), the Canada-Chile Business Council, Minalliance (Quebec), the Mining Association of Canada, the Canada-Peru Chamber of Commerce and the Canada-Pakistan Business Council. He is also a member of the Special Measures Policy Committee of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Denis Miville-Deschênes, Senior Vice President, Project Development

Mr. Denis Miville-Deschênes graduated with a degree in mining engineering from Laval University in 1982, before taking employment with Falconbridge where he held position as construction supervisor, underground supervisor before heading the engineering department.In early 1987, he joined the newly formed Cambior in Northern Québec as project manager before leading the construction and operations of the Beliveau from 1988-1991. The construction of the Omai gold mines in Guyana, South America, provided him with the opportunity to work overseas as construction controller and general services manager, a position held until mid 1994. Denis then returned to the corporate office where, until 1999, he worked on construction engineering, corporate development and various feasibility studies before returning to Omai gold mines as manager. In 2002, he led the feasibility study and environmental Impact Assessment of the Rosebel gold mines before heading overseas again to lead the construction, commissioning and operations of the very successful Rosebel mine in Suriname. Following the acquisition of Cambior in 2006, Denis has been asked to return to Montreal to develop the project group and centralize the technical services activities.

Paul Olmsted, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

Paul is Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and member of the Executive Leadership Team at IAMGOLD. Paul is a graduate of Queen’s University with a B.Sc. in mining engineering and an MBA. In 1984, he joined Goldfields of South Africa where he spent four years at various South African underground deep level gold mining operations holding both operational and planning positions. He completed his MBA in 1991 and subsequently joined the Bank of Nova Scotia’s corporate lending group specializing in mining finance. He actively participated in the evaluation, structuring and negotiation of debt financing transactions with a total value in excess of $1 billion. Paul joined Repadre Capital Corporation in 1996 and in 1999 was appointed Vice President, Corporate Development. He has been instrumental in the evaluation and technical evaluation, financial analysis and structuring for the significant corporate transactions undertaken during his tenure.

Jeffery Snow, Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Jeffery Snow joined IAMGOLD in November 2009 and is currently Senior Vice President and General Counsel in addition to being member of the Executive Leadership Team. Jeff’s academic credentials include a business degree from Queen’s University and a law degree from U.W.O. In his 30 years in the mining industry, Jeff has been Senior Vice-President & General Counsel for Noranda / Falconbridge, President and CEO of a mid-tier gold company, General Manager of a world class metallurgical facility, and Managing Director of a Mining Group at a national law firm. Jeff has led legal teams at a number of international mining companies and has worked on major acquisitions/dispositions, financings, class action litigation and international joint ventures in over 40 countries.

Lisa Zangari, Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Lisa is the Senior Vice President, Human Resources and member of the Executive Leadership Team at IAMGOLD. Lisa brings over 20 years of experience in strategic leadership, human resources management and culture with leading international gold-mining organizations to IAMGOLD. Prior to her September 14, 2009 appointment to the Company, Lisa held the role of Senior Vice President, Human Resources for a top tier mining company where, as a member of the Executive Committee she led the Executive development process, established global HR talent strategy, promoted the framework for cultural change and developed an ongoing relationship with the HR Committee of the Board of Directors.
