PETER JONES - Interim President & CEO
Peter Jones

Peter Jones is a graduate of the Rugby College of Engineering, England. He has more than 40 years of experience in the mining industry and has held senior international operating and executive positions in open-pit and underground mines producing a wide range of metals and minerals.
Beginning with Anglo American in Zambia he moved to Canada joining Newmont Mines Limited and worked in a number of operations in Canada and the USA. He later joined Princeton Mining Corp. (formerly Cassiar Mining) where he had several senior operational and executive positions culminating in Executive Vice President.
In early 1990, he joined Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting as VP Operations and in 1994 was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer.. Hudson Bay was Canada's third largest producer of copper and zinc and also produces silver, gold and cadmium. During Peter’s tenure, he rationalized its operations closing 5 mines (1 copper, 1 zinc, 2 copper/zinc and 1 nickel mine) and opened two copper/zinc mines with a third potential mine in final feasibility (and subsequent operation) as well as overseeing the modernization and installation of a new Zinc extraction process.
At the beginning of 1997 Peter joined Inco Ltd. and from early 2001 to late 2006 was the President and Chief Operating Officer and a Director of Inco Ltd., the western world's largest nickel producer. He was a Chairman of the Board of PT International Nickel Indonesia and Goro Nickel. Reporting to the Chairman and CEO, Peter was responsible for Inco's worldwide producing operations, projects, exploration, research and development and Environment and Health services, with particular emphasis on profitability and growth.

Gordon Stothart - Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Gordon Stothart
Gord joined IAMGOLD in December of 2007 and brings over 20 years of industry experience to the position of COO. In his previous role, Gord was responsible for technical management and development of three major copper projects in South America as well as oversight of the large scale Antamina and Collahuasi mines. Prior to this role, Gord served as the General Manager and Operations Manager at Lomas Bayas in Chile and Antamina in Peru as well as holding Engineering Management positions at the Brunswick and Bell Mines in Canada. He also spent several years as a Manager within the Business Development group for a multinational metals producer and provided technical analysis for global acquisition opportunities. Gord graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1987 with a Double Major in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering.
Carol Banducci - Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Carol Banducci
Carol brings more than 20 years of financial management and strategic leadership experience with leading global businesses to IAMGOLD. Prior to joining the Company, Carol was the VP Finance and a Director of Royal Group Technologies, where she led comprehensive integration, restructuring and cost improvement initiatives. Carol has had extensive finance experience in statutory and management reporting, audit, forecasts, capital programs, treasury, tax, acquisitions and divestments, pension fund management, insurance and information technology. She has held senior finance roles with the world's leading supplier of explosives and blasting technology. Other positions held include CFO and Vice President, Orica Explosives North America, CFO and Vice President of Finance and IT, ICI Explosives Canada & Latin America, International Controller, ICI International Explosives, Treasurer of ICI Canada Inc., and CFO and Vice President Finance of Canadian General-Tower Limited. Carol oversees all aspects of the finance and IT functions for IAMGOLD. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Larry Phillips - Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs
Larry Phillips
Prior to participating in the creation of IAMGOLD in 1990, Larry was the managing partner of a Toronto law firm, specializing in corporate commercial law. Larry was one of the original founders of IAMGOLD and served as an officer and Director of the company from 1990 until the company became a public listed company in March 1996 when he held the title of Vice President, Corporate Development. He was primarily responsible for negotiating mining rights acquisitions, government mining Conventions and major joint venture arrangements with other major mining companies. He has worked directly with the CEO and Chairman on all aspects of corporate development and been involved in a number of equity financings for the Company. As Vice President of Corporate Affairs he works directly with the CEO on major transactions, government negotiations and matters impacting the overall business of the Company.
Brian Chandler - Senior Vice President, African Operations
Brian Chandler
Mr. Chandler is a professional engineer with almost 25 years experience in many aspects of the mining industry, working in both underground and open pit mining operations and development projects in Canada and Africa. He has been a consultant to IAMGOLD and was instrumental in the operational improvements at our Mupane gold mine in Botswana. Mr. Chandler is based at IAMGOLD Operations Office in Dakar, Senegal. Mr. Chandler will lead the expansion of IAMGOLD's corporate presence on the African continent.
Denis Miville-Deschênes - Senior Vice President, Project Development
Denis Miville-Deschênes
Mr. Denis Miville-Deschênes graduated with a degree in mining engineering from Laval University in 1982, before taking employment with Falconbridge where he held position as construction supervisor, underground supervisor before heading the engineering department.In early 1987, he joined the newly formed Cambior in Northern Québec as project manager before leading the construction and operations of the Beliveau from 1988-1991. The construction of the Omai gold mines in Guyana, South America, provided him with the opportunity to work overseas as construction controller and general services manager, a position held until mid 1994. Denis then returned to the corporate office where, until 1999, he worked on construction engineering, corporate development and various feasibility studies before returning to Omai gold mines as manager. In 2002, he led the feasibility study and environmental Impact Assessment of the Rosebel gold mines before heading overseas again to lead the construction, commissioning and operations of the very successful Rosebel mine in Suriname. Following the acquisition of Cambior in 2006, Denis has been asked to return to Montreal to develop the project group and centralize the technical services activities.
Michael Donnelly - Senior Vice President, Exploration
Michael Donnelly
Mike graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Geology. He began his career as a Field Geologist with Noranda Exploration in the U.S., and over time held successive positions of increasing responsibility within Noranda Exploration in the Southwest and Eastern U.S. In 1995, Mike relocated to Chile and rose to the position of General Manager Exploration – Southern Hemisphere for Noranda. In 2003, he moved to Toronto where he held the position of General Manager Copper Exploration Latin America with the combined Noranda-Falconbridge groups. In this position, he was directly involved with the planning and execution of their global exploration efforts. Mike joined IAMGOLD in February 2006 and brings a successful exploration track record to our Company. Notable achievements include hands-on involvement with the discovery and delineation of four significant gold and base metals deposits in addition to the world-class La Fortuna deposit in Chile.
Ross Gallinger - Senior Vice President, Health, Safety & Sustainability
Ross Gallinger
Ross graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture. He began his career as Assistant Environmental Coordinator at the Equity Silver Mine in Houston, B.C. From there, he held environmental positions with the Premier Gold Project, the Bell Mine, as well as Northwood Pulp and Timber. In 1995, he relocated to Toronto where he rose to the position of Director, Environment for Rio Algom Limited, with responsibilities for many projects in South America. In this capacity, he received the President’s Award for lifetime achievement for his contribution to the success of the Antamina Project. In 2000, Ross moved to Chile as Manager, Health, Safety, Environment and Community for the Spence Project. After Billiton’s purchase of Rio Algom and the subsequent merger with BHP, he was named Manager, Environment for the Base Metals division of BHPBilliton, relocating to Houston, Texas, in 2003. From 2004 to 2006, Ross was Vice President, Sustainability with Placer Dome Canada in Toronto. Ross joined IAMGOLD Corporation in May 2006.
John McCombe - Senior Vice President, Operating Strategy
John McCombe
John McCombe P.Eng., has been with IAMGOLD since September, 2005 in the position of Senior Vice President of African Operations. In 2008, Mr. McCombe was appointed the Senior Vice President Operating Strategy. Mr. McCombe graduated from Queen's University in 1983 with a B.Sc. in mining engineering. Upon graduation Mr. McCombe joined Dickenson Mines (now Goldcorp) at their Red Lake operation where he held various mine and mill operating positions. In 1993 Mr. McCombe joined a US based consulting firm as project manager where he was responsible for several projects in the former Soviet Union. In 1995 Mr. McCombe joined Breakwater Resources and held various roles in Canada, Honduras and Chile where he was responsible for operations, project expansions, project start-ups and exploration programs. In October 2004 Mr. McCombe joined Breakwater's Toronto office as Vice President Operations where he was responsible for their 3 international and 3 Canadian mines.
Paul Olmsted - Senior Vice President, Corporate Development
Paul Olmsted
Paul is a graduate of Queen’s University with a B.Sc. in mining engineering and an MBA. In 1984, he joined Goldfields of South Africa where he spent four years at various South African underground deep level gold mining operations holding both operational and planning positions. He completed his MBA in 1991 and subsequently joined the Bank of Nova Scotia’s corporate lending group specializing in mining finance. He actively participated in the evaluation, structuring and negotiation of debt financing transactions with a total value in excess of $1 billion. Paul joined Repadre Capital Corporation in 1996 and in 1999 was appointed Vice President, Corporate Development. He has been instrumental in the evaluation and technical evaluation, financial analysis and structuring for the significant corporate transactions undertaken during his tenure.
Jeffery Snow - Senior Vice President, General Counsel
Jeffery Snow
Jeffery Snow joined IAMGOLD in November 2009. Jeff’s academic credentials include a business degree from Queen’s University and a law degree from U.W.O. In his 29 years in the mining industry, Jeff has been Senior Vice-President & General Counsel for Noranda / Falconbridge, President and CEO of a mid-tier gold company, General Manager of a world class metallurgical facility, and Managing Director of a Mining Group at a national law firm. Jeff has led legal teams at a number of international mining companies and has worked on major acquisitions/dispositions, financings, class action litigation and international joint ventures in over 35 countries.
Lisa Zangari - Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Lisa Zangari
Lisa brings over 18 years of strategic leadership and human resources management experience with leading international gold-mining organizations to IAMGOLD. Prior to her September 14, 2009 appointment to the Company, Lisa held the role of Senior Vice President, Human Resources for a top tier mining company where, as a member of the Executive Committee she led the Executive development process, established global HR talent strategy, promoted the framework for cultural change and developed an ongoing relationship with the HR Committee of the Board of Directors.

Lisa has successfully developed & led HR strategic planning processes, facilitated organizational development and cultural change, designed & delivered performance management, compensation, training & development programs, and managed international service. Lisa has lived in the United States and Canada and has worked internationally her entire career. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management.
